About this fabric

Made from 85% hemp and 15% cotton, this wallpaper has a naturally irregular, tactile appearance rather than a printed ornamental motif. Its fine horizontal lines shift between sandy beige, soft brown and restrained terracotta, giving the nutmeg colourway a gently sun-warmed character. The supplied repeat is approximately V 0cm / H 0cm, so the design reads as a continuous textured field. Small darker flecks and uneven fibre marks keep the surface from appearing flat while retaining its calm, understated look.

How to use it

Pair this warm nutmeg wallcovering with natural timber, woven grasses and softly aged leather, or use it to temper cooler stone and painted surfaces. Its horizontal texture brings depth to a quiet bedroom, study or relaxed living space.

Use this warm, finely striated nutmeg ground to add quiet natural texture to walls without a repeating motif.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
