Gila Clay

Alta FabricL9349-02

Gila Clay is a softly textural bouclé-style fabric with a warm, earthy beige tone and a gently clouded surface. Its muted clay colouring gives the weave a calm, tactile presence rather than a strong contrast effect.

About this fabric

This Clay colourway reads as a warm beige with a subtle biscuit undertone, lifted by lighter nubby loops across the surface. The composition is 32% Virgin Wool, 31% Polyacrylic, 28% Cotton and 9% Polyester, giving the fabric its dry, softly structured handle. With a width of approximately 137cm and a plain repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it is easy to work into upholstery schemes without pattern matching. The texture feels compact and richly detailed, so the colour sits quietly while still showing depth in the weave. Fire code K and the listed care code Q 8 < T 3 make it a practical choice for residential seating.

How to use it

Use this warm clay beige on an accent chair, sofa or headboard where its nubby texture can soften sharper lines. It pairs well with oak, sandstone, black accents and muted olive or tobacco tones.

A warm clay beige that brings quiet texture to tailored seating and layered neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
