Tomas Clay

Asti FabricL9542-01

Tomas Clay has a softly structured look, with the woven geometric pattern reading in warm clay-beige tones against a pale ground. The effect is refined and textural rather than bold, giving the cloth a calm, tailored presence.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a gentle clay beige with a creamy cast, so the pattern sits quietly rather than sharply contrasting. The small woven motif gives the surface a subtle, almost pixelated rhythm that adds depth when the light catches the different yarns. In the Asti collection, this fabric is 138cm wide and composed of 43% cotton, 35% viscose, 13% polyester and 9% linen, which supports its balanced, tactile finish. The repeat is approximately V 20cm / H 35cm, making the design feel orderly at a medium distance and finely detailed up close. With no special performance features noted, it reads as a decorative, versatile fabric with a smart, understated character.

How to use it

Use Tomas Clay on an accent chair, banquette, or neatly tailored cushions where its warm neutral tone can soften harder lines. It also works well in a pale, layered interior with oak, limestone, or sand-coloured finishes.

A soft clay-beige pattern that adds quiet texture without overpowering a room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tomas Clay without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
