About this fabric

Woven in 56% silk and 44% cotton, Lavelle has a delicate natural sheen that lifts this clay-toned colourway without making it look shiny. The fabric shows a fine, horizontal slub and softly irregular weave that keeps the plain ground interesting up close. With a width of approximately 140cm and a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it presents as an understated non-patterned textile that is easy to tailor into both relaxed and more polished interiors. The warm beige tone sits between sand and putty, giving it a grounded, versatile character.

How to use it

Use Lavelle Clay on tailored curtains, cushions or a coordinated headboard where the warm beige tone can soften stone, oak or painted timber. Its muted clay warmth is especially effective in rooms that need texture without introducing a strong colour statement.

A soft clay-beige with a gently textured surface that works beautifully across classic schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
