Sidbury Beige

Lamorna Chk & Stp FabricF4764-04

Sidbury Beige shows a fine, understated check that reads as gentle beige with a faintly cooler cast in the light. The tiny grid gives the fabric a crisp, measured look without losing its soft woven character.

About this fabric

Woven in 84% linen and 16% viscose, Sidbury Beige has the dry, natural feel you expect from linen, with just enough viscose to keep the surface looking neat and even. The checked pattern is very small in scale, with a 4cm vertical and horizontal repeat, so the design sits quietly across the cloth rather than making a strong graphic statement. Its beige ground is softened by a delicate mix of pale taupe, stone and muted off-white threads, which creates a calm, low-contrast finish. At approximately 140cm wide, it is a practical width for soft furnishings, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code support its use in considered interior schemes.

How to use it

Use Sidbury Beige where you want pattern without obvious contrast: Roman blinds, cushions, or a tailored loose cover will all suit its restrained check. It works especially well with pale oak, chalky paint colours and muted greens for a soft, layered room.

A quiet neutral that works beautifully on tailored curtains or light-use seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sidbury Beige without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
