About this fabric

This colourway combines a pale oatmeal-beige base with a muted clay accent that sits just a touch deeper than the ground, so the pattern reads gently rather than sharply. The design is a regular geometric repeat, and the 2.5 cm vertical and horizontal repeat keeps the surface feeling finely worked across the width. At 470 gsm, it has a substantial handle that suits upholstery particularly well, while the 136 cm usable width gives good flexibility for scheme planning. The texture visible in the weave adds a subtle artisanal character, with the threads creating a softly speckled, tactile finish rather than a flat printed look.

How to use it

Use Matmi Clay on an armchair, banquette or cushions where its warm neutral tone can soften darker woods and bronze details. It also works well alongside plaster, sand and linen shades, bringing quiet pattern without overpowering a room.
