Musafir Mineral/Coral

Curios Weaves FabricSAF0448-02

Musafir Mineral/Coral pairs slim pinstripes with narrow ikat-style bands in a light, breathable composition. The mineral ground keeps the palette calm while the coral adds a lively, painterly edge.

About this fabric

This Curios Weaves fabric from Sanderson has a usable width of 135 cm and a 200 gsm weight, making it a versatile mid-weight cloth with enough body for upholstery and enough lightness for drapery. The repeat is 10 cm vertically and 22.5 cm horizontally, and the pattern reads as alternating fine stripes and small stacked motifs rather than a broad, heavy design. Visually, the mineral tone is a pale blue-green with a soft washed quality, balanced by coral-pink marks that feel warm but not bright. The overall effect is crisp and fresh, with the stripes giving the swatch a neat rhythm and the woven texture adding a gentle, artisanal softness.

How to use it

Use it to lift a chair, cushion or blind in a room that needs colour but still feels airy. The mineral-and-coral palette sits well with pale oak, chalky whites and sandy neutrals.

A fresh, airy stripe that brings gentle colour without overwhelming a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
