About this fabric

Safar Indigo/Multi from Sanderson’s Curios Weaves collection is a substantial woven fabric at 334gsm, with a usable width of 139 cm and a repeat of 39 cm vertically and 34.5 cm horizontally. The cloth shows a deep indigo-blue ground broken by pale stripe columns, small ikat-like motifs and scattered pops of red, pink, yellow and teal. Those coloured details sit cleanly on the darker base, giving the design a crisp, textured rhythm rather than a flat printed look. With no performance finish noted and a firm, upholstery-weight handle, it reads as a fabric for statement seating and tailored soft furnishings.

How to use it

This colourway works well on an accent chair, bench or cushions where the indigo ground can anchor the room. Pair it with oak, blackened metal or pale linen so the multicoloured highlights stay fresh against the blue.
