Matmi Pomegranate

Curios Weaves FabricSAF0447-01

Matmi in Pomegranate pairs a small repeating geometric motif with a clear pink-red ground that feels bright and textured. The design reads crisp and orderly, with the pale weave lifting the darker outline of each motif.

About this fabric

Matmi Pomegranate from Sanderson’s Curios Weaves collection is a substantial fabric at 470gsm, with a usable width of 136cm and a neat 2.5cm vertical and horizontal repeat. The cloth shows a finely woven surface with a tight, structured handle, which suits the sharpness of the repeating geometric pattern. In this colourway, the palette sits between raspberry and warm pink-red, softened by a pale base that keeps the overall effect fresh rather than heavy. The small repeat gives the fabric a busy but controlled rhythm, making the design feel decorative without losing clarity.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring energy to a tailored chair, ottoman or headboard, especially where the pink-red tone can echo warm wood or brass. It also works well as an accent against ivory, taupe or deep green finishes, where the pattern’s brightness stands out cleanly.

A lively small-scale pattern that adds crisp colour without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
