About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Embleton Bay Fabrics collection is a 252 gsm textile with a usable width of 140 cm and a standard length of 60 m. Its 61 cm vertical repeat and 46 cm horizontal repeat support the large-scale trailing floral pattern shown here. Visually, the colourway balances muted claret blossoms with olive foliage, soft beige seedheads and pale ground space, so the overall effect is warm but restrained. The woven base reads as a versatile mid-weight cloth, suitable for schemes that want pattern without heaviness.

How to use it

Use it on a pair of Roman blinds, occasional chairs or a statement headboard where the claret notes can lift warm woods and painted neutrals. It also works well with sage, plaster pink and stone finishes, letting the olive stems read softly against the light ground.

A soft claret ground with olive stems gives the design an airy country-house feel.
