Akan Pink Pepper

Curios Weaves FabricSAF0439-05

Akan in Pink Pepper shows a tightly woven geometric pattern in a dusty pink-red, broken up by soft cream motifs. The effect is crisp and rhythmic, with the colour reading warm and slightly faded rather than bright.

About this fabric

Akan Pink Pepper from Sanderson’s Curios Weaves collection is a substantial fabric with a usable width of 142 cm and a weight of 632 gsm, giving it the body expected for upholstery. The design repeats at 4 cm vertically and 4.5 cm horizontally, creating a neat small-scale grid that feels orderly and tactile in this colourway. Visually, the ground is a muted peppery rose with cream patterning, so the contrast is clear without becoming stark. The threads-per-cm count of 122 supports the sharp, woven definition seen in the repeated motif and the dense overall handle.

How to use it

This pink pepper shade works well on an accent chair, ottoman or bench where the small-scale pattern can be read up close. Pair it with chalky neutrals, warm timber and soft brass for a room that feels layered but not overworked.

Use on compact seating or cushions for a warm, textured hit of colour.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
