About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Curios Weaves collection has a usable width of 142 cm and a substantial weight of 632 gsm, which gives the cloth a sturdy, upholstered feel. The design repeats every 4 cm vertically and 4.5 cm horizontally, creating a tight grid of cream motifs against a warm ochre ground. In the swatch, the colour sits between mustard and terracotta, with a mellow, sun-baked depth rather than a bright yellow cast. The high thread count of 122 threads per cm supports the finely detailed woven motif and gives the surface its neat, compact appearance. No performance features are noted, so it is best considered for decorative upholstery and accent pieces rather than hard-working contract use.

How to use it

Pair this turmeric colourway with natural oak, cane and off-white linen for a warm, layered scheme. It is especially effective on an armchair or ottoman where the small-scale pattern can be seen up close.

Use it on compact seating or cushions to bring a warm, woven glow.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
