About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet is supplied with a usable width of 140 cm, a 70 cm horizontal repeat, and a substantial 570 gsm weight, all of which suit the dense, tailored feel seen in the image. The pile reads as a warm sienna and amber-brown base, with deeper cocoa markings running through it in irregular, painterly bands. Those darker streaks sit in the velvet rather than on top of it, so the pattern feels integrated and tactile rather than printed. With 79 threads per cm, it has the close, compact structure expected of a substantial upholstery velvet.

How to use it

The warm, earthy tone works well on a sofa or accent chair in a room with bronzed metals, walnut woods, or textured neutrals. It also pairs neatly with deep green, tobacco, or rust accents, where the sienna ground can feel especially luxurious.

Use on statement seating where the warm, antique-gold sheen can glow in soft light.
