About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet is specified at 570gsm with a usable width of 140 cm, so it has the substantial handle you would expect from an upholstery fabric. The design reads as a deep turquoise teal, broken by darker vertical streaks and irregular painterly marks that give the surface movement without losing its plush density. Its 79 threads per cm support that close, refined velvet finish, while the 70 cm horizontal repeat means the motif has a broad, deliberate rhythm across the cloth. With no performance finish noted, it is best chosen for furniture and decorative pieces where its saturated colour and textured sheen can take centre stage.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, ottoman or banquet seating to introduce a cool jewel-toned accent. It pairs well with walnut wood, smoked brass and quiet neutrals that let the teal depth read clearly.
