About this fabric

The velvet’s 48% polyester, 48% viscose and 4% cotton composition supports its use for both contract and domestic upholstery. Across the 138cm width, the surface shows short horizontal slubs and scattered light-catching flecks rather than a regular printed motif. Its cool teal base reads vivid and jewel-like, while the muted warm flecks add contrast without taking away from the colour’s depth. Aftercare is professional; it meets Domestic Cig & Match requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this deep turquoise teal on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its directional texture can be seen at close range. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and cream or sand textiles to bring out the small golden flecks.

A richly coloured turquoise velvet with lively horizontal texture and subtle warm flecks, suited to statement upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
