About this fabric

The velvet has a broken, horizontally textured appearance, with fine irregular marks and softly shaded areas visible across the olive-beige ground. Composed of 48% polyester, 48% viscose and 4% cotton, it is supplied at a 138cm width for contract and domestic upholstery. The short, light-catching surface gives the colour a gentle changeability as the pile catches the light. Aftercare is professional; it has domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this muted olive-beige with warm timber, aged brass and chalky neutrals for a relaxed, quietly refined scheme. It works particularly well on a tailored sofa or occasional chair where the velvet texture can be seen up close.
