About this fabric

This colourway layers warm ivory with muted rose, blush-pink, soft grey and taupe-grey vertical marks, creating a measured rhythm rather than a conventional stripe. The velvet surface adds visible depth to the closely spaced pattern as the light catches the raised texture. Made from 48% polyester, 48% viscose and 4% cotton, it is 138cm wide and graded for contract and domestic upholstery. Professional aftercare is required; it meets Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use the ivory ground to keep upholstered seating light, then draw out the dusty rose marks with muted pink or warm neutral cushions. The soft grey verticals also sit comfortably with pale timber, brushed metal and tailored contemporary furniture.

A softly textured velvet with an ivory ground and broken rose-grey verticals, well suited to tailored upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
