About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille combines a pale neutral base with irregular threads of muted terracotta, cool blue-grey and charcoal. The compact weave creates a fine, tactile surface that reads as a contemporary flecked textile rather than a bold pattern. It is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery and is machine washable. The fabric has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy and can be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Use FER3227 on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its cream base can lighten the scheme while the terracotta flecks introduce understated warmth. Pair it with charcoal, weathered wood and blue-grey accents to draw out the cooler threads in the weave.

A finely textured multicoloured chenille that brings subtle warmth and visual depth to upholstered furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
