About this fabric

The compact chenille weave is predominantly charcoal and blue-grey, with small warm rust and copper accents appearing throughout the surface. Light catches the raised fibres unevenly, bringing out a subtle peppered pattern and tactile nubby finish. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, FER3226 is graded for Contract and Domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy, with treatment available to contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this cool charcoal-and-slate base with pale timber, blackened metal or warm leather, using the scattered rust flecks to introduce terracotta or copper accents. It is particularly suited to tailored sofas, dining seating and other hard-working upholstered pieces.

Use this dark, finely flecked chenille to bring depth to contemporary sofas, dining chairs and occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
