About this fabric

This velvet is woven in 100% polyester and measures 138cm wide, making it a practical choice for upholstered furniture. The close-up shows a smooth, fine pile with gentle directional shading rather than a printed motif or visible pattern. Its charcoal depth is softened by a restrained green cast, giving the colour a cooler, more atmospheric character than a straightforward black or neutral grey. ESS4308 is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, is machine washable, and has Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use ESS4308 on a sofa, headboard or statement armchair where its deep green-charcoal tone can read as a moody neutral. Pair it with aged timber, brushed metal or pale textured walls to draw out the velvet’s soft sheen and cool undertone.
