About this fabric
Made from 100% polyester, this velvet has a rich, dusky purple tone that shifts subtly across the surface as the nap catches the light. The close-up shows a fine, even pile rather than a printed motif, giving the colour a smooth and quietly luxurious depth. At 138cm wide, it is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, including larger seating applications. It is machine washable and carries Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy for contract settings.
How to use it
Pair this cool, muted plum-mauve with aged brass, smoked timber and warm neutrals to balance its depth. It is especially effective on a tailored sofa, reading chair or upholstered headboard where the velvet nap can show gentle tonal movement.
