About this fabric

The chenille’s small-scale woven texture is clearly visible across the swatch, with delicate darker and lighter threads giving the plum tone gentle depth. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, GAR2209 is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade. The cool berry-plum shade has a softly dusky character that catches the light without becoming glossy.

How to use it

Use GAR2209 on an occasional chair, sofa or headboard where its dusky berry-plum tone can add depth without overwhelming the room. Pair it with warm neutrals, aged timber or soft blush accents to bring out the chenille’s subtle tonal variation.

The muted berry-plum chenille brings softly textured colour to upholstered seating in both contemporary and classic rooms.
