About this fabric

Made from 80% viscose and 20% linen, this 138cm-wide fabric has a compact flat-weave construction with small-scale tonal variation visible across the surface. The mauve-lavender colour is subdued rather than bright, giving the weave a softly aged, quietly sophisticated appearance. It is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery, with professional aftercare specified. The fabric meets Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this cool dusty mauve with warm taupe, chalky cream or charcoal around an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard. The fine crosshatch adds texture without introducing a strong pattern, making it useful where the lavender tone should remain the room’s restrained colour accent.

Use the muted mauve-lavender tone to bring quiet colour to upholstered seating, headboards or occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
