About this fabric

Woven from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a compact surface with a delicate diagonal rib that is clearly visible in the close-up image. The colour sits between dusty mauve and soft plum, with a cool, subdued character rather than a saturated purple appearance. Its specification covers contract, domestic and outdoor upholstery, while contract flame retardancy supports use in commercial seating schemes. FRE4439 is also machine washable for practical aftercare.

How to use it

Use this dusky mauve-purple on a contemporary sofa, dining chair or occasional seat where its restrained colour can add depth without dominating the room. Pair it with warm grey, putty, aged timber or brushed metal to bring out the chenille’s subtle woven variation.
