Fortuna FabricFORT122

FORT122 presents a richly shaded dusky plum chenille with sweeping botanical leaves worked in deeper, near-black purple tones. The textured surface gives the colourway a softly tactile, layered appearance as the light moves across the cloth.

About this fabric

This 100% polyester chenille combines a muted plum-purple ground with large curling leaves and trailing botanical forms in dark, densely textured accents. The tonal pattern has strong visual depth without introducing a second bright colour, giving the design a moody, enveloping character. At 138cm wide, it is supplied as a domestic upholstery fabric and is machine washable for aftercare. Its flame retardancy is rated for domestic cigarette and match use, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use FORT122 on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its dusky plum tone can anchor a room. Balance the large botanical scale with quiet cream, taupe or smoky-grey plains, while dark wood and antique metal bring out the deeper leaf detailing.

Pair the dusky plum ground with warm neutrals, aged timber and darker metal accents for a richly layered upholstered scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
