About this colour

This shade reads as a dark, earthy pink with a brown-red base, so it lifts a room gently without ever feeling pale. In north-facing light it can look moodier and more cocoa-toned, with the pink softened right back. In south-facing rooms the red side comes forward and the colour feels warmer, fuller and more enveloping. It sits well beside pale stone, walnut, oak and brass, and it can also anchor deeper greens and charcoals without clashing.

How to use it

It suits a sitting room, study or dining room where you want warmth and depth on the walls. Pair it with natural oak, dark timber, linen in chalky neutrals or upholstery in muted olive, rust or soft mushroom tones.

A deep, muted rose-brown that brings warmth and depth to a wall.
