About this colour

At #C6B2A7, Light Peachblossom reads as a muted peach-pink with beige in it, so it feels warmer than a bare pink but far quieter than a true terracotta. It holds light well without looking bright, and on a wall it gives a settled, slightly powdery warmth rather than a sugary tone. In north-facing light it can turn more earthy and restrained, with the pink receding and the beige becoming clearer. In south-facing rooms it feels fuller and softer, bringing a comfortable warmth that sits well beside natural oak, walnut, linen shades and deeper reds or browns. It is a good colour for woodwork where you want the trim to feel less stark than white, or for walls around upholstered furniture in muted neutrals, faded florals or deep forest greens.

How to use it

Use it in a sitting room, bedroom or hallway where you want a calm warm backdrop. It works well with painted woodwork in off-white or with upholstery in oatmeal, taupe, moss green or muted berry tones.

A soft pink-beige wall colour that feels warm and settled rather than sweet.
