Amatheon Fabric

Amatheon Emperor is shown here as a rich, dusky plum-purple cloth with a smooth surface and pronounced fluid drape. The gathered folds create darker berry-toned shadows against the softly lit face of the fabric.

About this fabric

The colour reads as a deep, muted plum with a subtle mauve cast rather than a bright or saturated purple. Its fine-looking, even surface falls into long, pliable folds, making drapery the most natural application from the appearance shown. The low-sheen face catches light gently across the raised folds while the recesses deepen towards near-burgundy shadow. No composition, width, rub test or performance features have been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this dusky plum colourway with warm neutrals, smoked timber or aged brass, using it for generous curtains that allow the softly folded texture to become part of the room’s atmosphere.

Use this deep plum colourway for full-length curtains or softly gathered window treatments where its fluid folds can be appreciated.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
