About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Curios Fabrics collection has a usable width of 137 cm and a lightweight 105 gsm handle, making it feel more like a graceful decorative cloth than an upholstery ground. The design is printed in drifting clusters of wisteria that trail across the cloth in soft amethyst, lavender, pale blue and touches of periwinkle, with fine twiggy outlines keeping the pattern airy. A vertical repeat of 167 cm and horizontal repeat of 137 cm create a generous all-over rhythm, so the large-scale motif has room to breathe. With 42 threads per cm, the base reads smooth and finely woven, which suits the watercolor detail and the light, luminous colour palette.

How to use it

The cool lilac and blue mix works well in rooms that need softness without heaviness, especially at a window where the pale ground can stay bright. Pair it with painted timber, silvered finishes or quiet neutrals to let the amethyst wisteria remain the focus.
