Keats Amethyst

Keats FabricF3914-13

Keats Amethyst reads as a luxurious, dark plum with a soft violet cast and a velvety surface sheen. The finish catches the light gently, giving the shade depth rather than brightness.

About this fabric

This colourway sits in a rich amethyst-plum range, with warmer burgundy undertones visible in the pile and a subtly mottled surface that softens the overall effect. Woven in 70% viscose and 30% cotton, it has the fluid lustre and tactile depth you’d expect from a fabric that feels substantial rather than flat. The width is approximately 142cm, with a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm, so the design presents as a plain-textured ground rather than a pattern. It is well suited to upholstery where you want a jewel-toned finish with a little movement in the light.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, banquette or headboard where the deep purple can anchor the room without feeling stark. It pairs especially well with walnut, smoked oak, soft grey and brushed brass.

A rich jewel tone that brings warmth and depth to tailored seating or statement cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
