About this fabric

This flat-weave fabric is made from 80% viscose and 20% linen, giving the 138cm-wide cloth its finely grained appearance. In the swatch, tiny crosswise and lengthwise threads form a quiet, small-scale check rather than a pronounced pattern, with occasional darker flecks adding depth to the pale ground. Rated for Contract and Domestic upholstery, it is suited to seating as well as softer furnishing applications where this versatile mid-weight texture is appropriate. Aftercare is professional; flame retardancy is Domestic Cig & Match, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

The softly warm greige colour works well on clean-lined sofas, dining chairs or curtains, especially with ivory, oatmeal, pale timber and brushed metal. Keep surrounding patterns understated so the fine crosshatch remains the visible source of texture.

Use this quiet greige weave on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains alongside warm timber and textured neutrals.
