About this fabric

This velvet is woven from 100% polyester and measures 138cm wide, making it a practical choice for upholstered seating and furniture. The deep olive-charcoal colour reads muted and grounded rather than bright, with the nap adding slight tonal variation as it changes direction. ESS4297 is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery, with Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy. It is also machine washable, adding useful care flexibility to its refined velvet texture.

How to use it

Use this deep charcoal-olive shade on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its dark, softly shifting surface can anchor warmer timber, aged brass and natural neutrals. It also works well as a quiet alternative to black in a contemporary or moodier room scheme.
