About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The close, fine pile creates a plush surface, while the directional shading visible in the swatch gives the golden yellow tone subtle movement. Its warm ochre-gold appearance reads especially richly where the pile darkens, balanced by softly illuminated areas that catch the light. The fabric is machine washable and has Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use ESS4291 on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its mellow golden tone can warm neutral surroundings. Pair it with chalky creams, tobacco browns or muted olive to emphasise the velvet’s softly shaded depth.
