About this fabric
This 100% polyester velvet has a finely textured, closely woven surface with a muted taupe-grey tone that sits between warm stone and soft brown-grey. The plain finish keeps the colour understated, while the directional pile creates slight tonal variation across the swatch. At 138cm wide, ESS4288 is suitable for upholstery in both Contract and Domestic settings. It is machine washable and carries Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy.
How to use it
Use this warm taupe-grey on a sofa, dining chair or headboard where its soft pile can add comfort without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with chalky neutrals, natural timber and darker brown accents to bring out its gentle warmth.
