About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet has a fine, short pile and a muted taupe tone that sits between beige and soft brown. The plain surface is enlivened by subtle nap variation, creating gentle darker and lighter areas across the swatch without a printed motif. Rated for contract and domestic upholstery, it is also machine washable and carries Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy. The restrained colour and plush surface make this a quietly luxurious option for upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Use the warm mushroom-taupe colour on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair, pairing it with chalky neutrals, walnut timber and brushed metal. Its subdued sheen can soften a room without introducing a strong pattern.
