About this fabric

This Essenza colourway has a cool, lightly taupe-leaning greige tone that reads soft and airy rather than stark grey. The close velvet pile gives the surface a fine, softly pebbled appearance, while changes in nap direction create delicate tonal shading instead of a visible motif. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, it is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The fabric is machine washable and has Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy.

How to use it

Pair the pale greige tone with chalky whites, pale oak and warm stone for a calm contemporary scheme, or use it to lighten deeper taupe and charcoal upholstery. Its subtle nap adds quiet depth to dining chairs, headboards and tailored seating without introducing a pattern.
