About this fabric

This 100% polyester chenille is woven in a warm taupe shade, with small ochre-gold and grey flecks distributed through the surface. The compact, irregular weave catches the light in restrained highlights, giving the colourway more depth than a flat plain. At 138cm wide, it is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. FER2443 is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy, with the option to be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe colourway on an armchair, sofa or dining seat where its ochre flecks can sit alongside natural timber, aged brass and muted stone tones. It also works well as a grounding neutral against deeper olive, rust or charcoal accents.
