About this fabric

The 100% polyester chenille is 138cm wide and specified for both contract and domestic upholstery. Its teal ground reads cool and saturated at first glance, while the mixed yarns soften it with muted grey-green, tan and dark flecks. The close, nubby weave catches light unevenly, so the colour shifts subtly across the swatch rather than appearing flat. It is machine washable, and its domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® rating can be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Use this cool, deep teal on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its granular weave can add colour without looking overly smooth. Balance the blue-green depth with pale timber, warm neutrals or brushed brass, which will pick up the small beige and charcoal flecks.

A cool, richly mottled teal chenille that brings depth to upholstered seating while its flecked weave keeps the finish relaxed.
