FER2448

Ferrara FabricFER2448

FER2448 from the Ferrara collection is a tightly textured chenille with a charcoal-grey ground threaded through with fine muted red and warm neutral flecks. The close mélange effect gives the surface a softly mottled depth rather than a single flat colour.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille combines charcoal, grey and subtle red threads in a compact, visibly tactile texture. The darker ground keeps the colourway grounded, while the scattered warm flecks catch the light and prevent it from reading as plain black or solid grey. It is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery and can be machine washed. Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy is supplied, with treatment available to contract grade.

How to use it

Use FER2448 on an armchair, sofa or headboard where its charcoal depth can anchor a room, then pick up the restrained red flecks with rust cushions or understated patterned accents. Warm oak and aged metal will complement the chenille’s mixed grey-brown texture.

Pair the charcoal-grey ground and muted red flecks with warm timber, rust accents or deep neutral upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
