About this fabric

This velvet is made from 48% polyester, 48% viscose and 4% cotton, giving the textile a softly textured, light-catching appearance in the swatch. Narrow vertical bars and flecks run through the blue-grey ground, alternating between crisp dark navy, brighter blue and subdued brown-grey notes. At 138cm wide, EXT2544 is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery, making it suitable for furniture with a tailored, contemporary finish. Professional aftercare is specified; the fabric meets Domestic Cig & Match requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use the cool blue-grey ground on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair, then echo the navy and cobalt marks with plain cushions or painted joinery. Its fine vertical rhythm works particularly well with clean-lined furniture and brushed metal details.
