Extravaganza FabricEXT2541

EXT2541 pairs a pale ivory ground with broken vertical lines in sage-olive and cool grey. The close-up shows a tactile velvet surface whose fine pile catches the light unevenly across the irregular striping.

About this fabric

EXT2541 is a velvet composed of 48% polyester, 48% viscose and 4% cotton, with a softly ribbed, vertically broken stripe visible across the cloth. Its pale ivory ground is interrupted by narrow sage-olive and cool grey lines, giving the surface a lightly weathered, graphic rhythm rather than a high-contrast stripe. At 138cm wide, it is rated for Contract and Domestic upholstery. Professional aftercare is specified; it meets Domestic Cig & Match requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this cool, light colourway on a sofa, occasional chair or headboard where the ivory base can brighten the scheme and the muted sage-olive lines can connect with foliage, painted cabinetry or soft grey accents. Position the stripe vertically on a tailored piece to emphasise its elongated, architectural rhythm.

A cool, light-toned velvet with broken vertical striping, suited to upholstered seating in contemporary or relaxed interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
