About this fabric

This velvet is patterned with broken vertical bands, where saturated teal slivers interrupt softer ivory, grey and taupe lines. The cool teal gives the colourway a crisp, contemporary character, while the pale neutral ground keeps the overall effect balanced rather than dramatic. Made from 48% polyester, 48% viscose and 4% cotton, it is 138cm wide and graded for both contract and domestic upholstery. Professional aftercare is required; it has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use EXT2538 on a statement armchair, headboard or occasional sofa where its vertical teal accents can stand out against pale walls and warm natural wood. Grey and taupe accessories will draw out its quieter neutral threads, while deeper teal details can reinforce the stronger colour.

Pair the cool teal and pale neutrals with warm timber, brushed metal or soft grey upholstery accents.
