About this fabric

Woven from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille combines a blue-grey ground with darker charcoal flecks and lighter threads that catch across the surface. Subtle vertical bands are visible through the weave, adding depth without creating a bold repeat or overt motif. Rated for contract and domestic upholstery, FER2453 is suited to seating where its dense, textured construction can be appreciated. It is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy; it can be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Use this cool, muted blue-grey on a sofa or occasional chair to bring depth without heaviness, balancing it with chalky walls, dark timber or warm natural leather. The fine vertical texture also works well on clean-lined upholstered dining seats.

Use this cool slate blue-grey on sofas, armchairs or dining seats, pairing it with pale timber, charcoal and brushed metal.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
