Ferrara FabricFER2456

FER2456 is a deep charcoal chenille with a densely woven, softly mottled surface. Fine blue-grey and muted brown flecks interrupt the dark ground, giving the colourway visible depth rather than a flat black appearance.

About this fabric

This 100% polyester chenille is 138cm wide and suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The close, grainy weave combines charcoal, blue-grey and subdued warm brown threads in a small-scale texture that catches the light unevenly. Its Domestic Cig & Match GreenFRĀ® rating can be treated to contract grade. Machine-washable aftercare adds practical versatility to this dark, hard-working colourway.

How to use it

Use FER2456 on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its charcoal base can anchor a room without looking uniformly black. Pair it with pale timber, cool stone and blue-grey accents to draw out the cooler flecks, or add rust-toned details to echo the warmer threads.

Use this deep charcoal chenille to bring subtle blue-grey and warm brown flecks to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
