Ferrara FabricFER2454

FER2454 is a close-textured chenille with a muted blue-teal ground, softly varied by charcoal, grey and tiny rusty flecks. Its tightly woven surface gives the colour a nuanced, gently weathered depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The dense, nubby weave combines blue-teal and charcoal-grey threads with intermittent warm rust-brown details, creating a cool colourway with a restrained lift of warmth. This 100% polyester chenille is 138cm wide and graded for both contract and domestic upholstery. The textured surface catches the light unevenly, allowing the teal to shift subtly between blue and grey across the cloth. It is machine washable, with Domestic Cig & Match GreenFRĀ® flame retardancy and the option to be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this cool blue-teal with pale oak, charcoal or weathered timber for a quietly contemporary scheme, or use the small rust flecks to connect it with terracotta and aged leather accents. Its dense chenille texture is particularly suited to sofas, occasional chairs and upholstered headboards.

Use this finely flecked blue-teal chenille to bring cool colour and subtle woven depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
