FER2459

Ferrara FabricFER2459

FER2459 has a deep charcoal-grey ground with a peppered mix of stone, taupe, brown and near-black threads. Its close chenille weave creates a softly nubby surface with subtle tonal variation rather than a defined motif.

About this fabric

The small-scale, irregular weave gives this colourway a dense, tactile appearance, while the scattered pale and warm flecks prevent the charcoal tone from reading as flat black. FER2459 is a chenille made from 100% polyester and measures 138cm wide. It is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery and is machine washable. The fabric has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFRĀ® flame retardancy and can be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Use this deep, cool charcoal upholstery on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its flecked surface can soften a dark scheme. It pairs particularly well with pale stone walls, warm timber and muted taupe or rust accents that pick up the small warmer threads.

A hard-working charcoal chenille for sofas, chairs and other upholstered pieces, with flecked texture that disguises everyday marks.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
