About this fabric
The ground reads as a medium, cool grey, with scattered warm gold and olive glints distributed through the weave. Fine irregular marks run across the surface, creating a subtly weathered texture that becomes more visible as the light catches the velvet pile. Composed of 48% polyester, 48% viscose and 4% cotton, the fabric is 138cm wide. It is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery, with professional aftercare required. Flame retardancy is Domestic Cig & Match, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.
How to use it
Use this grey-gold colourway on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool base can soften stronger colours. Pair it with warm metallics, pale stone and natural timber to bring out the small gold flecks without overwhelming the understated surface.
Use this cool grey velvet on upholstered seating, with brushed brass or warm timber to draw out its subtle gold flecks.
