About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet has a fine, even pile visible across the swatch, with subtle tonal variation created by the nap. The aqua-teal colour sits between softened blue and green, reading fresh rather than bright and cool rather than warm. Rated for contract and domestic upholstery, Essenza also has Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy. Its machine-washable aftercare specification adds practical flexibility to this smooth, quietly dimensional surface.

How to use it

Use this muted aqua-teal on a statement armchair, headboard or sofa to introduce cool colour without overwhelming a room. Pair its soft blue-green tone with warm timber, pale neutrals or brushed metal to balance the velvet’s gentle sheen.
