About this fabric

This plain faux linen is woven in 100% polyester and measures 138cm wide, with a lightly crosshatched surface that recreates the irregular character of linen without a printed motif. The blue-teal shade sits between softened blue and green, while the fine pale threads catch the light and prevent the colour from appearing flat. Suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, EMP521 is also machine washable for practical everyday use. Flame retardancy is Domestic Cig & Match, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use EMP521 to upholster a reading chair, sofa or dining seat where its cool blue-teal tone can sit against warm timber, natural oak or soft neutral walls. Its restrained woven texture also works well on simple curtains or cushions when a room needs colour without a strong pattern.

A softly textured blue-teal faux linen that brings understated colour to upholstered seating, cushions and relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
