About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric from the Brett Weaves collection is composed of 52% viscose, 24% polyester, 15% linen and 9% cotton, with an approximate width of 142cm and a vertical repeat of 13cm and horizontal repeat of 5cm. The surface shows a small-scale zigzag weave, where the teal ground sits slightly muted and cool, while the coral-red bands add a brighter, more energetic note. Pale cream yarns soften the contrast and give the stripe a lighter, airy edge rather than a dark, dense finish. With no performance features noted and a fabric handle that looks balanced rather than heavy, it suits upholstery or drapery use well.

How to use it

Use this colourway to lift a neutral chair, ottoman or blind with a hit of coral against soft teal. It would also work well in a relaxed sitting room where the stripe can add movement without feeling formal.
